WHAT WE BELIEVE

WE BELIEVE in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, that are distinct personalities with distinct roles, but one God. And that the one God is the creator of the universe.

WE BELIEVE Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Savior, the Son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, and was bodily raised from the grave. He will return as our victorious Lord!

WE BELIEVE the bible is the divinely inspired Word of God in its entirety, that it is without error, that it is the absolute standard and guide for all of life.

WE BELIEVE our salvation comes only through Jesus Christ and His life’s blood given on our behalf at Calvary, that it cannot be earned, and is a gift of God.

WE BELIEVE that God’s gift of eternal life is received by faith and that saving faith is expressed by repenting or turning toward Christ, confessing Christ as Lord before witnesses, and being baptized into Christ! Baptism by immersion is an action of our faith that pictures our death to an old life of sin and a resurrection to a new life in Christ! At the same time, it demonstrates our union with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection!

WE BELIEVE everyone who receives Christ by faith has the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, who acts as a comforter, guide and advocate.

WE BELIEVE all those who have reached a spiritually accountable state have sinned and have separated themselves from God because of their sin. As a result, they need the forgiveness of Christ’s death to be reunited with God!

WE BELIEVE that those who are forgiven through Jesus Christ possess eternal life and will live in God’s presence forever and that those who reject Chris’s forgiveness will be separated from God,

WE BELIEVE the church, as a body of Christ, is the extension of Jesus Christ’s character, attitude, behavior, and mission in our world today.

WE BELIEVE God gives spiritual gifts to both men and women through the presence of the Holy Spirit for the upbuilding of the church’s ministry.

WE BELIEVE that every Christian is a minister for Christ and has been called by the Lord to make disciples and bear fruit for Hi kingdom.
